fires
For those of you who don’t know, I live in Southern California. I’m sure most of you have heard about the fires we’ve been having. Fortunately, where I’m at we have been okay. It’s mostly our air that is suffering from the fires, Monday was the worst with all the wind. Our wind has died down, the smell lingers and our sky changes colors during the day.
This is a current picture of what it looks like from my front door:
We have friends who have been affected by the fires thru evacuations as well as friends who have family fighting the fires. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we hope that this ends quickly and safely.

We have a really cool orange moon tonite from all th esmoke down our way. Too bad thats why its so pretty! I posted some pics from my back and front yeard as well, on my blog. Hope it rains this weekend!

I’m happy to hear that everything was fairly okay where you are, Pixie. My heart goes out to all those who went through the fires. Thanks to all of the rescue personnel and shelter staff who helped out~
