My husband and I met after he returned from serving a two year church mission. A common interest in music made us fast friends, which led to us spending more time together and finally getting married. This January (2007) will be our ten year mark! I am lucky to be married to such a hard worker who supports me as a SAHM to our two boys (ages 6 and 4).

We are both big believers in having a hobby. While his may take him outdoors and sleeping on rocks, mine keeps me inside surrounded by my stamps, inks, papers, and ribbons! I think mine is more relaxing of the two, but then again, I am biased!

I have always enjoyed creating with my hands. From a young age I spent endless hours with a pencil and paper drawing and sketching. My Mom used to take me to Church Craft Nights, where I picked up tole painting. I was always encouraged to be creative. Later my Mom introduced me and a dear friend to Scrapbooking, and you could say that is when my real love for papercrafting took off.

I have been scrapbooking for almost 10 years and stamping for about four. I have made many wonderful friends thru stamping and I am thankful for their inspiration and friendship. It’s nice to know you’re not nuts for being so obsessed with rubber and ink!
