happy valentine’s day!

I always have fun creating the Valentines for my boys to hand out at school. This year I decided to use Prehistoric Pals from SU! When I saw this set, I had to get it! Perrin loves dinosaurs and I’ve been wanting a cute, easy (no coloring) dinosaur set. This fit the bill!

I used non-traditional Valentine colors, opting for the earthy tones. I used Garden Green, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, and Ruby Red. I thought that white looked too bright, but the Naturals Vanilla looked really good with these colors. For the little heart, I used the Martha Stewart heart hand held punch. Each heart is popped up with a bit of foam tape. Of course, my Marvy punches came to the rescue for the focal images.

Inside each holder is a bag of Fun Size M&Ms. These are super easy. The dimensions are : 2 3/4 x 10 inches then score at 3, 3 1/2, 4, 8

The focal image is adhered with foam tape, and the bottom portion was then trimmed with scallop scissors to fit nicely under the focal image to keep it closed.

Hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day! :)

You should be room mom every year. You should get an award for the best hand-outs in class. I bet P&O are super poopular cuz they give the raddest treats. That’s definitely another notch on your belt, Em. Good job - they are perfect.
