40 tiny reindeer

Published by waterpixie at 3:38 pm under paper crafting

Today was a fun day! Both of my boys had their Holiday parties, which means I was finishing their treats to hand out last night. Oops! Hahaha!

I am Co-Room Mom in Owen’s class, and had picked up stuff for their Holiday party in September when they first started putting Christmas stuff out. We went with a reindeer theme - decorating red and green beach buckets with fun foam reindeer face decorating kits and each child had a pair of fun foam reindeer antlers with their names on them to wear today. So when I saw the cute Hershey bar reindeer that I shared here (inspiration Hershey bar reindeer) I knew what I had to make for the boys to pass out in class.

Below you will spy the 40 reindeer I made for today, along with a close up. The kids were excited to have their own full sized Hershey bar, and you can’t really blame them. ;)

Funny note: I wanted to use pipe cleaners for their antlers, but couldn’t find enough brown and didn’t want to use black. So I started brainstorming and decided that letter “K” would do quite nicely for antlers. I plugged in my Cricut and cut out the “K” using the George font. I then trimmed them down, making them more like a lowercase “K”, and taped them to the inside of the wrapper. Hooray for letter “K”!

These are the cutest! How did you assemble them? Looks like you might have used an oval scallop punch? These would be perfect for my group of senior ladies. I would love to know how to make these little darlings! You are too clever! Thanks for sharing!
