happy world card making day!

Published by at 5:07 am under World Card Making Day

Good morning and happy World Card Making Day!

Are you all ready for a day of stamping fun!? I sure am! What a great excuse to spend a Saturday stamping!

Ready for my first challenge? Here we go!

This morning my challenge is for you to use felt (or fabric) as an embellishment on your card. You can use your personal die cutting machine to cut out cute felt/fabric shapes to add to your card, or if you don’t have one you can easily free-hand an embellishment and cut it out with scissors!

I’ve been having fun using my Cuttlebug to die cut cute felt shapes to use an embellishments. I think it adds a nice texture to your cards. Here are some examples that I’ve posted in the past:

A few things to note:

You have until midnight PDT Sunday, October 7th to enter! Simply complete your card, then post a reply with a link to your entry. You may post your entries either on your blog or in the justjohanna World Card Making Day Gallery found here: World Card Making Day.

You may enter as many times as you’d like! There is no limit to how many times you can enter each challenge.

You may use any stamp images you’d like! We are not limiting the contest to only justjohanna images. But if you do have some, be sure to use them! 😉

Have questions about your entry or about the contests throughout the day? You can post questions to me here on my blog or check out the justjohanna forum!

Be sure to check out the justjohanna World Card Making Day schedule for the other challenges posted throughout today: World Card Making Day.

Here are links to the other 6am posted challenges:

One Layer Card

Use 3 or more stamps to make a card

You’re not going to want to miss out on the fabulous prizes! Each challenge in which you participate will earn you an entry into a drawing to win an exclusive “Flying Al on Earth” stamp made just for WCMD 2007. If you win a second drawing, you will receive “Flying Al with Stars,” also an exclusive (not available in stores) rubber stamp design. If you win a third drawing, you will receive a coupon for free shipping on the justjohanna web site. All challenge participants will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize: a $250 justjohanna shopping spree. There will also be a $50 runner up shopping spree, and five 25% off your justjohanna order coupons.

Now it’s time for stamping and fun! I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
