dirty cards

I’ve had some fun this week by participating in a Fan Club event over at Splitcoaststampers. To celebrate three years of the Fan Club, there were some fun challenges posted by several of the current and alumni Dirty Girls (the Design Team at Splitcoaststampers). I’ve been playing a few of the challenges this week and here’s what I’ve done so far:

For labullard (Dry Embossed Vellum) and notimetostamp’s (Easy Elegance) challenges:

For leslierich (Out of the Box), jbalcer (Happy Color Scheme) and Jami’s (Fall Back on Black) challenges:

A little story on the Tooth Fairy Tin. Perrin had a front tooth that’s been loose for quite a while. When he came home from school on Wednesday it was really bothering him and when I checked his mouth I could see the permanent teeth for that one and the one next to it already coming in. It was causing him pain when he ate, so I thankfully was able to get him to the dentist the next morning. They ended up pulling his teeth and I could then see why that one tooth was hurting so much — it was a really long tooth! Poor guy!

The Dentist is super with kids and asked Perrin if he wanted to “Cash in” his teeth. Hahahahaha! Perrin was so excited to FINALLY have lost some teeth, that he wore the little tooth necklace they put his teeth in for the rest of the day. Before he went to bed I made him a tin for the Tooth Fairy. I lined the inside with black felt to make it easy to see the teeth. So he is now a happy boy with his two bottom teeth missing. I told him he now has a hole for his straw until his big teeth come in. He thought that was pretty fun!

Hope you all have a fun weekend!
