Arr, matey! I was in a pirate mood when I created this card. All images from justjohanna.

Card base is Going Grey. Card is cut at 4 1/4 then scored at 5 1/2 for this side folding card. Bottom is So Saffron cut to cover about 2/3 of the card. I stamped the images pirate hat and sword left to make the patterned paper. I then stamped the sentiment “pirate’s life for me” and colored in “pirate’s” with my white gel pen. Doesn’t that look cool!! I just LOVE coloring in the words of the jj mix style sentiments! I then used scallop scissors for the decorative edge and tied some black gingham ribbon around the So Saffron layer. I then attached it to the card base and set aside.

For the focal image I stamped Emily’s Oval Large on WW with my Palette Noir Black ink pad. (I’ll be doing a size comparison of the different oval sizes compared to the Marvy punches once StampMania is over next week) I then stamped Le Bandit Right and dressed him up as a pirate! I stamped the pirate hat on his head and the sword left on a scrap piece of WW. I colored him in with Prismacolors using Gamsol and a blending stump. I then punched him out with my Marvy Mega Oval punch. I used my silver/gold paint pen on parts of the sword and carefully cut it out.

I then drew a little belt and used my craft knife to cut it out so I could put the sword under his belt. Crystal Effects were added to the hat and the sword hilt. I then punched out an oval with my Marvy Giga Scallop Oval and adhered the focal image to it. The little dots were added with the silver paint pen. The focal image was then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

This card is really funny to me. First, I think he looks like a little Napoleon, as opposed to a pirate. Second, what pirate decorates with scallops and gingham ribbon? He would seriously get beat up on the playground! Hahahaha! At any rate, I think this turned out to be a pretty cute pirate card!
