I think I mentioned it before, I’m a greedy swapper! I usually try to sign up for as many rounds as I can. So here is another ATC for the swap I was in.

I had just got my Cuttlebug before I started the swap. Their Concentric Hearts die was the first one I got, simply because I was using my coupon on the Cuttlebug and that was an inexpensive die. I picked up some red felt because I thought little felt hearts would be cute!

The ATC base is Real Red. For the focal image I stamped the flourish from the TAC set Flourishes in Real Red ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Next I used my Stampin’ Up! Ticket Corner Punch; I did this step next so that I would know where to stamp the sentiment and not have it get cut off. I then stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! set Warm Words in Basic Black ink.

I then adhered my felt heart to the focal image using Mono Multi. I just had to put a dab of it in the middle of the heart for it to stick. I then punched two holes, one thru the side of the heart and one right next to the heart, threaded the red organdy polka dot ribbon thru the holes and tied it in a knot. Some bling was added to the flower center and the focal image was then adhered to the ATC base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I found that the Cuttlebug cuts thru felt really well! I love having different textures on my cards, and this was just the ticket with the heart. I didn’t know that you could buy sheets of felt that already has adhesive on the back until Jami told me she got some. When I went to look for some, I found that my selection wasn’t very good and I didn’t like the feel of the sticky backed felt I found. It was too rough and I prefered the softness of the regular felt at the Michaels I went to.
