A couple of months ago I participated in a fabulous ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap! This was my first time doing an ATC, I’ve always thought they were cute but never made one! What’s fun about them is that they are small and you can get 10 out of one sheet of cardstock! How cool is that!? This swap had several rounds and since I’m a greedy swapper, I signed up for them all! So I’ll have several to share over the next week.

The base of this one is Regal Rose. The next layer is Pretty in Pink. For some added texture I used my Color Spritzer along the bottom of the layer. I simply put some computer paper over the top half, got my Color Spritzer ready with the Pretty in Pink marker then spritzed away!

For the focal image, I stamped this darling cupcake from Lockhart Stamps in Palette Noir Black ink. I then punched it out with my Marvy Scalloped Square Punch (you know I love you Jenn!!). The cupcake was colored with Prismacolors, using Gamsol and a blending stump afterwards. I got the idea to make the cupcake liner striped from an AWESOME card that Pro sent me! (Yeah! Pro rules!) For this card, I simply matched the colors in the ribbon for the liner. Stickles were added over the top of the frosting and the cherry is covered with Crystal Effects. The finishing touch was to add doodles with my Regal Rose marker.

For the tag, I used a transparency and my Cuttlebug with the Tiny Tags die. I used Karen Foster Snap Stamps Casual (Thank you, Stamp Fairy!) to create the sentiment and stamped it with StazOn. The ribbon was then tied around the Pretty in Pink layer before adhering it to the Regal Rose base. Silver cord was used to hang the tag. (Note to self: you need more silver cord! quit forgetting to order it!)

I am now in love with ATCs!
