on the twelfth day of Christmas

Published by at 4:08 pm under blog fun

Another easy one today, just got back from a three hour drive. Major traffic in town today, and now I need to get my grocery list completed and get that done.

Tell me your favorite Christmas carol/song/hymn!

I’ll be back to draw a name after Christmas!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, full of family and friends.

Pixie, finally an easy one I know the answer to! Hehehe~

“Do You Hear What I Hear”. Unfortunately my favorite isn’t a common one. Over the years I have found a couple of cd’s that have it and I just love listening to this song. 🙂

Merry Christmas to my favorite Pixie!

Definitely “Oh Holy Night” if I am singing but our church ends every Christmas eve service with a candlelight “ceremony” to Silent Night. My home congregation did this, too. The first year away from my mom and dad, all I could do was cry!

When I was a child in grade school, our choir would sing it every year and it gave me chills then, just as it does today. Merry Christmas to all. Peace be with you!

“I’ll be home for CHRISTmas”. It has always meant so much to me. I have been away from “home” since the age of 17. I had an August birthday. I couldn’t always afford to get back to Seattle for CHRISTmas with my family. Now that I am all grown up with a family of my own, it brings back sweet memories of those younger days.
